This course is a workshop that covers project management concepts and techniques such as those included in Project Management Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge, PMBOK. The course emphasizes the students application to their own projects in such areas information technology, construction, marketing initiatives, research and development, conferences. A student learns to focus and align a project with the organizations goals plan the projects tasks and determine and secure the needed resources and control the project by tracking, evaluating, and adjusting performance.
