What

ISM's DBA degree takes the critical last step towards helping candidates master the problems and skills essential to their professions. Some degrees go further than the rest, and ISM's DBA is one of them. A doctoral degree with managerial relevance, the DBA allows top managers to deepen their expertise, contribute to the knowledge of their profession, and prepare themselves for the complex analyses and decision-making required of senior management.

The program is designed to cultivate the leadership and efficacy necessary to tackle the challenges of senior management on an international level. It is based on an American-style curriculum and centers around a series of highly interactive and intensive seminars. Professors at ISM are rigorously selected worldwide from among the best consultants and professionals in their fields with many holding positions in America's top business schools.

In addition to the seminar component, candidates will complete two Professional Assessment Case Study analyses as well as a doctoral dissertation. As the culminating portion of the DBA program, the doctoral dissertation is a research project that is both original and pertinent to international business theory and practice. Candidates work closely with their Director of Research in creating a comprehensive project tailored closely to their professional interests and aspirations.

The DBA program, as well as all degree programs at ISM, is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs ( ACBSP), the first accreditation institution recognized by the US Governmental Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
