| This course is intended to introduce students to the practical legal and cultural issues encountered when negotiating international agreements in an Asian context. Particular emphasis will be placed on negotiations involving Japanese and non-Japanese parties through the examination of actual international commercial transactions. The course will work through a conceptual framework to better identify and understand the principles and processes behind successful negotiation. It will serve to raise students' ability to Negotiate effectively in a cross-cultural environment. |
