After attending an ISM seminar on Knowledge management with Dr. JC Spender, Eduard was inspired to apply the principles learned in class to his own industry of Asset management, and in the Fall of 2008 published the article "Knowledge Management in Asset Management Firms", in the Association of Financial Professionals' journal, VBA. October 17, marked the final day of the 2-week ISM Tokyo Program-2008 at Temple University Japan. Beginning on October 6, ISM students participated in 4 Seminars addressing; Doing Business in Japan, East-West Negotiation, Silver Market Phenomena, and Nation/Corporate Branding. During their residency in Tokyo, students had the opportunity to listen to several industry specialists, engage in a complex negotiation exercise involving a Japanese-US labor management dispute, and socialize as guests of Temple University's Director of Special Programs, William Swinton in traditional Japanese fashion.
