The MBA at ISM, accredited in the US and Europe and recognized worldwide, emphasizes the practical application of the principles that govern international business. The program is based on an American-style curriculum, consisting of a series of intensive seminars taught by professors with real-world experience, many of whom also hold positions in America's top business schools.

Prospective MBA applicants should:

  • Hold a university degree from an accredited four-year undergraduate institution
  • Possess a minimum of three years of professional experience

MBA Seminars

The MBA capitalizes on ISM's Paris campus, providing students with the opportunity to network with one another face-to-face, and share their experience and knowledge. Each seminar in Paris constitutes 1.5 credits and is taught over a three day period; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Given the intensive course format, ISM provides students with the necessary reading materials one month before each seminar.

Additionally, all MBA students will attend the ISM New York program offered in July.

Professional Assessment

MBA students will complete two Professional Assessment Case Studies as part of their degree program. The assessments take the form of two case study analyses and provide an opportunity to conduct in-depth research on an assigned company. In return, students will receive a detailed assessment of their work that will contribute to setting personal academic standards for future coursework at the school. Students complete the first case analysis before starting their program and will be assigned a second case towards the end of their studies at ISM.

Master's Thesis

Conducted under the supervision of an approved Thesis Advisor, the Master's Thesis should be:
  • A project that is both original and pertinent to current international business theory and practice and the student's current, future, or desired professional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrative of the student's understanding of how conceptual knowledge or academic theory applies in specific contexts.
