I am finding the doctoral curriculum enjoyable, interesting and useful, and have been pleasantly surprised at the immediate applicability of each course I have taken. I intentionally chose courses that I expected would be of benefit to me in my career, but have been surprised at how soon their applicability has been realized. To date, every course I have taken has had a practical application in my job and life, and while I expected this from courses such as Active Investment Management, Management Decision Making and Corporate Finance, the same has been true for courses such as Multicultural Management and Global Brand Management, which I expected would be relevant at some point, but not immediately. The PhD courses I have taken to date have also proved useful and more informative than I expected, particularly the course on the Human Brain. I have also had colleagues ask me for copies of my assignments to read as they have found my knowledge on related topics impressive. On reading the assignments, they have found them both interesting and a valuable resource in their own roles. To summarize, to date I have found the course selection impressive, the courses materials interesting, informative and applicable and the assignments both challenging and useful. I have enjoyed every moment of the course to date and it has certainly met and exceeded my expectations.
