I have been very pleased with my academic experience at ISM. I have been very pleased with my academic experience at ISM. As a former business executive at Reebok and Frankel/Leo Burnett, I was skeptical about my academic peers since some of them did not have much applied experience in their discipline.

But, through my coursework at ISM, I discovered the important link between my professional experience and the theory that is the foundation for current practice. I knew how to market and sell before ISM, but I rarely knew how to best define, why the best practices follow the most innovative or insightful theories. I did not know who was responsible for a break-through and how the best thinking fit together to lay a foundation for my discipline.

My instructors have challenged me “dig deep” and build a skeleton of connecting ideas and to become more disciplined in my business analysis, and this has proved infinitely valuable.
