I had already started my position as a Marketing instructor at the University of British Columbia in the Faculty of Business, before I started my PhD at ISM. However, I believe that my experience at ISM as been conducive to improved teaching on my part. First, the courses that I have taken in Marketing in Asia, and International Business, are examples of courses I have been able to incorporate into my own curriculum.

First, the courses that I have taken in Marketing in Asia, and International Business, are examples of courses I have been able to incorporate into my own curriculum. Also, my experience studying with ISM in China and Japan has enabled me to contribute some of my personal international experience when teaching these courses at UBC. Finally, teaching at the Institut Superior European de Gestion (ISEG), due to my participation in he PhD program at ISM, has increased my stamina as the teaching schedule for ISEG requires much longer hours than what I am used to at UBC. Overall, I find I had solid teaching experience prior to ISM, but the combination of the PhD program's benefits, and the benefits of teaching at ISEG, together, have significantly enhanced my teaching abilities.
