The Board of Directors of the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs ( ACBSP) has approved the nomination of ISM Chancellor, Prof. Peter Horn as President-Elect of ACBSP. The general membership of ACBSP will vote to confirm Prof. Horn's nomination at the June annual conference.

Dr. Thomas, who teaches Customer Relationship Management at ISM, and Dr. Timothy Wilkinson, have won the 2010 Berry-AMA Book Prize for the best book in marketing. Their book, The Distribution Trap, explains that it is time for U.S. companies to wake up to the destructive mass-marketing theories that have cut their profits, diminished their reputations, and sent American jobs overseas. The book has been called "a real page turner" and is a must read for anyone concerned with the future of business.
