The overall goal is to prepare the manager to utilize the human assets of the organization in a manner that maximizes his or her contributions to organizational performance. Emphasis will be given to understanding differences and similarities of individuals and a variety of groups, with careful examination of individual and group values, attitudes, and behaviors. Equipped with this understanding, the manager should be able to operate comfortably and successfully in today’s complex workplace.
