Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is the leading US accreditation body for business schools and programs whose aim is teaching excellence. Founded in 1988 near Kansas City, Missouri, ACBSP emphasizes sound and engaged pedagogy in institutions of higher education, encouraging a healthy balance between research and classroom. ACBSP is one of only two business school accreditation organizations to impact the distribution of US federal student loans, and thus plays a vital role in the business education landscape.
