Redefining Executive Education
In regards to the faculty, they have been around the block. They have actually been part of management companies, starting businesses and really have deep expertise.
Most of the faculty have knowledge and diverse experiences in their field. They travel to Paris to facilitate a three day seminar from all over the world
IMBA Alumnus (2014)
ISM places a great deal of importance on balancing latest theory and academic knowledge with practical business experience and ‘on the ground’ expertise. Our professors are leading experts in business and education. Our hand-picked faculty are brought to Paris specifically for ISM and are available to their students throughout the seminar. When not conducting seminars at ISM, our professors stay busy with their work as CEOs and entrepreneurs, or by teaching at top universities around the globe.
Dr. Michael Neubert teaches Strategic Management, Strategic Marketing, Corporate Entrepreneurship, and (International) Finance in the MBA programs at ISM. He also lectures International Entrepreneurship and Intercultural Management at other universities like the University of Vorarlberg, the University of Liechtenstein, and the German-Paraguayan University to name a few.
Dr. Neubert is a PhD alumnus of ISM and the chair of the Strategic Management Committee of ISM. He is an active researcher in international entrepreneurship and publishes his research results in peer-reviewed academic journals. His current research interests include the early and fast internationalization of high-tech start-up firms as well as the concepts of lean and digital internationalization.
Dr. Patrick O’Sullivan teaches Business Ethics in the doctoral programs at ISM. O’Sullivan was formerly a Senior Lecturer and MBA Program Director at Cardiff University Business School, and was appointed as full Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) in September, 2006. From September, 2009 to September, 2012 he has been Head of Department of People Organizations and Society at GEM.
Dr. David Pollon teaches Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Management in the IMBA program at ISM. Pollon is an adjunct professor of Business Studies at the American University of Rome. Fluent in Italian, he has worked in the entertainment industry as the Finance Director for Universal Pictures Italy, the Walt Disney Company (Milan), and Buena Vista Home Entertainment in London and Burbank, California.
Dr. Ivo Pezzuto teaches Global Macroeconomics in the IMBA program and Disruptive Innovative Business Models DBA and PhD programs at ISM. Dr. Ivo Pezzuto is a global markets strategist, author, member of advisory boards, international lecturer and consultant to multinational firms and financial institutions.
Dr. Ayalla A. Ruvio teaches Breaking Into New Markets in the doctoral programs at ISM. Ruvio is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan and an Assistant Professor at Temple University. Dr. Ruvio an applied consumer behavior researcher who specializes in issues such as consumers' decision making regarding new products, identity and consumption, and cross-cultural consumer behavior.
Nathan Sambul, MA teaches Advertising and Communications in the IMBA program at ISM. Sambul is an international marketing specialist with clients in Europe and North America. Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer for Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker (with revenues over $5 billion). His areas of global responsibility included advertising, new business development research, consumer behavior, knowledge management, direct marketing, graphics, publicity, and intellectual content for clients and prospects.
Dr. Mark Sardy teaches Research Methodology in the doctoral programs at ISM. Sardy is a former management and strategy consultant for Bain & Company and turnaround consultant for NYCP (a McKinsey spinoff). He worked on strategy projects for top Fortune 500 companies on M&A valuation and led teamwork on turnaround projects. Sardy has taught in institutions all over the globe including the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Dr. Simon Stoepfgeshoff teaches Strategic Human Resources Management in the DBA and PhD programs at ISM. Dr. Stoepfgeshoff holds a diploma in business administration and a PhD from the University of Bayreuth. He is currently the Director of Customized Programs for the Executive School of Management, Law & Technology at the University of St. Gallen, and is also a professor of International Human Resource Management at the University of Applied Sciences of Bern.
Dr. Leslie Shaw teaches the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution seminar for the IMBA program. Formerly a supplier account manager at the Electricity Supply Board in Dublin, Leslie Shaw pioneered negotiation skills training in France in the 1980s when he developed a Negotiation Bootcamp for the Alcatel-Alstom group, which has since been attended by over 12,000 corporate clients and business school students from around the globe.
David Skea teaches International Business Law in the ISM IMBA program. David Skea has a bachelor of laws and a bachelor of commerce from the University of Notre Dame Australia. David Skea is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia and has worked as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia at King Wood & Mallesons and a taxation litigation firm, Wilson and Atkinson.
