PhD alumnus Anthony Bagherian co-authored an article titled "Prioritization of critical success factors for sustainable Lean Six Sigma implementation in Indian healthcare organizations using best-worst-method." The article focuses on improving service quality in Indian healthcare services using Lean Six Sigma, a method used to improve performance by removing waste and reducing variables.

The study identified critical success factors for sustainable Lean Six Sigma and ranked them on their intensity of importance. The findings of this study can help healthcare workers better deploy Lean Six Sigma, resulting in improved service quality in hospitals.
