A Unique Student Body
ISM's high academic standards and flexible course curriculum attract a diverse and cosmopolitan group of senior managers. Indeed, the flexible nature of the program, which allows students to design their own course curriculum, makes it possible to pursue a full-time professional activity while taking classes. The international student body includes executive managers from Europe, Asia, North America, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Oceania.

ISM's programs are designed for accomplished managers making progress in their present occupation and for ambitious executives ready to switch their career focus entirely. Whether you want to engage in a part-time or e-learning program while you work, or dive into a full-time program as you make the next leap in your career, ISM offers a flexible range of programs.

Facilities
ISM's main campus is situated in Paris' elegant 7th arrondissement, within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and the park des Invalides. ISM also offers dynamic programs in the United States, China and Japan, which combine a business education with crucial instruction in other languages and cultures. Strategic partnerships with St. John's University in New York, Fudan University in Shanghai, and Temple University Japan in Tokyo, reinforce ISM's prominent position in three more of the world's most important business capitals.

A Personal Approach
ISM emphasizes individual attention in its admissions process and its programs. After reviewing applicants' CVs, ISM invites strong candidates to first speak with an admissions officer and a member of the faculty, at which time their profile is assessed and they may learn about ISM programs. Candidates who meet the initial admissions requirements are asked to fill out a full application and take part in a one-on-one meeting with one of ISM's Deans. Following that second interview, the Admissions Committee makes its final decision. The Committee gives equal weight to academic performance, professional experience and personal strengths, including each candidate's philosophy of business as well as his or her goals and motivation.

ISM's highly selective admissions process allows for a typical enrolment of some 130 students. Maintaining a small, close-knit student body makes for dynamic classroom discussions and interactive seminars. In contrast to larger graduate programs, ISM ensures that students can always meet individually with their instructors, and encourages mutually enriching student-faculty interactions.

Our personal approach extends to the process of thesis and dissertation selection, in which ISM encourages students to focus on the research that will best hone their expertise while contributing to the knowledge in their field.

A Distinguished Faculty
Rigorously selected from among the best in their field, ISM professors are all leading experts in business and education. Their range of expertise includes International Finance, International Business Law, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Development, Risk Management and Business Ethics, among others. All ISM faculty members are either Americans or native English speakers. When not conducting seminars at ISM, they are occupied by their work as CEOs and entrepreneurs, or by teaching positions at top universities in the USA and abroad.

US and European Accreditation
Since its inception ISM has gained international recognition for its focused organizational structure and commitment to academic excellence. This recognition is demonstrated by the institution’s ACBSP accreditation, as well as membership in efmd in Europe and accreditation by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education in the United States.

Academic Strategy
The International School of Management offers its students a unique academic opportunity. The requirements are straightforward: each student attends a series of seminars and engages in his or her own research. Within that framework, all programs are extremely flexible; for example, no core curriculum exists for the IeMBA or DBA programs, thus candidates are free to select the seminars that interest them most. Indeed, flexibility is the hallmark of an ISM education: we specialize in educating busy executives who cannot interrupt their careers.

Perhaps most important of all, there is a no limit to the number of seminars that students in ISM's advanced programs (all programs except the MBA) may attend, and they may do so tuition-free.

ISM is now the only accredited institution whose standard fees include the opportunity to study in Paris, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

A Global Network for Working Professionals
The international nature of ISM is essential: more than 90 nationalities are represented, and the student body grows more diverse every year. The fact that students can earn an ISM degree and continue working sets ISM apart from other graduate level institutions. The International School of Management prioritizes a program design that allows students to pursue their careers while carrying a full course load. At ISM your professional and academic careers don't conflict, they produce synergies.
