ISM DBA alumnus Dr. Akintoye Akindele was nominated as YNaija.com’s Person of the Year 2021. Dr. Akindele is a Nigerian entrepreneur and an investor in the African tech ecosystem. His passion for the development and growth of entrepreneurs in Africa has led him to be a frequent speaker at leading business schools, conferences, and seminars on investing in Africa and the role of entrepreneurship in Africa’s evolution.
Currently, Founder and Chairman of Platform Capital – a venture capital firm focused on providing principal investment and advisory services to startup firms in Africa, Dr. Akindele is also CEO of Duport Midstream–a technology and innovation-based oil and gas company.
