DBA alumnus Jane Wiltshire wrote an article in Business Day magazine about South Africa’s endangered rhino population. In the article titled “Saving the rhino patently needs a new approach,” Wiltshire argues that the current strategies for protecting endangered rhinos in South Africa aren’t effective and a new approach that reexamines the ban on international trade in rhino horn might be required. Dr. Wiltshire is a postdoctoral fellow of the African Wildlife Economics Institute of the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Read the full article here.
