ISM core faculty member Andrew Thomas co-authored an article in the Journal of Transportation Security in July 2019. The article titled, “At-risk populations to unintentional and intentional fentanyl and fentanyl+ exposure,” delves into the issues posed by the increasing prevalence of fentanyl. The article discusses the fact that while the threats of direct usage might seem obvious, the number of people put in danger through indirect exposure is also quite alarming. The article can be found here (a paid subscription is needed to access the full document).
