In January 2020, PhD alumnus Henry Ajagbaw was appointed as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution (PHED) in Nigeria. PHED supplies power to Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Cross-River states. Dr. Ajagbaw has over 23 years of experience in the banking sector and most recently served as Executive Director at Ecobank.
