PhD alumnus Bisola Onajin-Obembe is the recipient of the 2021-2022 Ondo State Female Role Model Award (ODSFERMA). Dr. Onajin-Obembe currently serves as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. She is among the ten Nigerian women who will receive the award due to their hard work, development initiative, tenacity, and philanthropy. 

The award ceremony, which was held on Saturday, June 26th, 2022, at Akure in Nigeria, and was organized by Hero Magazine and Nigeria Outstanding Leadership Award Platform to recognize different distinguished individuals who have not only made remarkable career achievements but also valuable contributions to Nigeria’s economy.
