On April 27, 2017, ISM PhD candidate Conrad Fernandes successfully defended his dissertation titled “Challenges to Long-term Sustainability of Chinese Outward Foreign Direct Investment” with honors. The defense jury was made up of Professor Daphne Halkias (adviser), Professor Jack Hampton (second examiner), and Professor César Baena (ISM’s Dean and Director of Doctoral Research).
