Professor Ivo Pezzuto contributed to the ThoughtLab article "Escalating Cyber Threats in the New Landscape," which discusses how the invasion of Ukraine has increased the risk of cyberattacks from nation-states and non-state actors. Pezzuto, who is a professor of digital transformation, explained how the war in Ukraine is impacting the cybersecurity landscape, what risks it presents for companies, and what advice he would give CISOs. 

"More efforts are needed to strengthen international cooperation and resources but also scenario planning and simulations," said Pezzuto. "Often the worst-case scenario assumptions in the scenario planning process look more like a baseline scenario or at least one that is not truly severely adverse."
