Professor Daphne Halkias will present a paper at the 2019 Academy of Management (AoM) Annual Meeting to be held in Boston from August 9-13, 2019. The paper titled "African American Women Managers’ Experiences in Predominantly Black Work Environments" was co-authored by Dr. Ray Sanders Muhammad from New England College. The purpose of the paper is to “gain a deeper understanding of the leadership experiences of African American women managers employed in predominantly Black work environments.”

The Academy of Management is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars. The theme of this year’s AoM meeting is “Understanding the Inclusive Organization.” Learn more here.
