Chafik Abid, PhD

Dr. Chafik Abid is the Co- founder, the Director and an Associate professor in the North American Private University in Sfax which consists of three institutions: The International Institute of Technology (IIT), The International School of Business (ISB) and The International School of Architecture (ISA).  Dr. Abid has an MBA in Logistic and Manufacturing Management and then a diploma in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Operations and Decision Systems from Laval University, Québec. Dr. Abid has an experience exceeding 20 years in research and teaching in Operations and supply chain Management, supported between others by The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Dr. Abid has taught several courses in different international academic institutions: Laval University, Gégép Garneau, University of Moncton, Canadian University Dubai, American University in Dubai, International School of Management in Paris, International Institute of Technology etc.
