From New York to Paris, Strategic HR Management Seminar

Being a PhD student at ISM is a unique experience for me. I attended the Strategic Human Resource Management seminar in Paris last month. It was a great opportunity to learn new human resource skills during face-to-face interaction. I exploited this chance to explore new horizons while meeting colleagues who came from all around the globe.

This was my second time in Paris. ISM has moved to a new location which is more spacious and elegant. The seminar rooms are well equipped technologically and are very supportive to the learning process.

The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable. He arranged a visit from an HR manager at Ingenico to give us real time exposure to today’s challenges. There was a Q&A session as well that showed us new angles to see various industries from an HR viewpoint. It emphasized the importance of this department in any workplace.

Overall it has been a tremendous learning experience since I have joined ISM. The seminars in New York especially are the assets for my professional career. I have attended these seminars two years consecutively. I highly recommend prospective students to join ISM in a wide variety of the courses offered.
